The votes are in and Goodreads Best Books of 2017 have been announced!

The YA Winners are:

Young Adult Fiction

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas (Review)

Young Adult Fantasy and Science Fiction

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas

I’m super excited The Hate U Give won for YA Fiction and Goodreads Debut Author. It was one of the best books I have read in years and (I thought) a well deserved win. In the Fantasy and Science Fiction category however, I was pulling for Scythe by Neal Shusterman (I did really enjoyed Sarah Maas’s A Court of Thorns and Roses series though).

What do you think of this year’s winners?
