Stan (Stanley Martin Lieder) Lee has always been a fantastic creator for the Superhero world; becoming an enormous icon within the Marvel and occasionally DC universe. His death will create a hole in the hearts of millions of fans; missing the sassy gent from his cameos and necessary appearances within movies and cartoons.

Stan Lee believed in the humanization of heroes, giving them anxieties and beliefs of a ‘normal’ human and assisting in our acceptance of them. For many years, he worked alongside his greatest rival Jack Kirby, and was occasionally assisted by his younger brother Larry Lieber, some of their works being The Incredible Hulk, Black Panther, The Uncanny X-Men, Fantastic Four, Black Widow, Iron Man, and The Amazing Spiderman.
