Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
Heathcliff, an orphan whose appearances greatly differ from the family that adopted him, grows up and falls in love with the daughter of his adopted family: Catherine. However, the family does not approve of this and eventually he leaves Wuthering Heights, the home he grew up in. After Catherine has married, Heathcliff returns with plans to gain ownership of Wuthering Heights and its neighboring lands as revenge for not letting him be with Catherine. This is a story of Heathcliff, Catherine, and everyone that they affect. It’s a book that keeps you turning the pages. I would rate it 7/10 because although it was a good story, I did not vibe well with the characters.
